We are seeking collaboration with academic, research, and industry partners to develop a PRIMA project focused on sustainable food systems, biodiversity, and resource valorisation. The proposed collaboration will explore innovative approaches for identifying and valorising underutilized biological resources, including wild edible plants, with potential applications in food and feed systems.
The project aims to contribute to food security, improved nutrition, and sustainable agricultural practices in the Mediterranean region. In particular, it will consider the potential of alternative plant resources, including protein-rich species, for animal feed, while promoting biodiversity conservation and resilience to climate change.
We are looking for partners with expertise in agronomy, ecology, food science, animal nutrition, and related fields, as well as stakeholders from industry and innovation sectors. The collaboration will involve joint research, knowledge exchange, and co-development of sustainable solutions aligned with PRIMA priorities.
