LEPABE’s research is based on 3 pillars of development: Sustainability and Energy, Processes and Products, Environment and Health. Our scientists are motivated to collaborate with colleagues from diverse research fields, fostering synergies and advancing research in cross-cutting areas. We are seeking partners for the development of microalgae-based solutions within the PRIMA 2026 calls, targeting sustainable applications in the water–agriculture nexus.
Our work focuses on the use of microalgae as a versatile platform for resource recovery and biomass valorisation, with potential applications in decentralized brackish water treatment and circular agricultural systems, including sustainable feed production.
We are looking for complementary expertise in agricultural systems, water engineering, and/or animal nutrition and feed formulation, as well as partners interested in scaling and field validation under Mediterranean conditions. I am not seeking to coordinate the project, but to actively contribute to a multidisciplinary consortium involving agricultural sciences, plant physiology, soil science, water management, or industrial partners.
