DESCRIPTION

We are seeking academic and industrial partners to develop innovative and sustainable applications of ozone technology in the water–agriculture–food nexus within the Mediterranean region. The proposed collaboration focuses on: • Advanced ozone-based water treatment for reuse in irrigation • Application of ozonated water for sustainable agriculture (crop irrigation, reduction of chemical inputs) • Use of ozonated water for surface and equipment disinfection in the agri-food sector Our team offers strong expertise in electro-technologies, water treatment processes, and pilot-scale experimentation through an operational technological platform. We are particularly interested in building a multidisciplinary consortium including universities, research centers, and industrial partners (agriculture, water utilities, food processing). The project aims to develop pilot-scale demonstrators adapted to Mediterranean conditions, with a focus on sustainability, water reuse, and food safety.
