The Manufacturing Technology & Production Systems Laboratory (MT-Lab) and the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technology Laboratory (AMMT-Lab) of the International Hellenic University, stand as a pivotal Manufacturing Engineering Hub for advancing academic and research missions in Manufacturing Engineering. Established both couple years ago significantly have been expanded and equipped, fulfilling their academic mission while pushing forward specific research areas in cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. Demonstrating a commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, the Manufacturing Engineering Hub continuously updates its expertise through research projects, fostering close cooperation with the industrial sector for technology transfer. The Hub offers specialized services, and its expertise spans various disciplines, including the design and manufacturing of industrial products, optimization of manufacturing systems, CAD/CAM/CAE methods, condition-based monitoring and automation of manufacturing processes, robotics, advanced materials and failure analysis. The research interests focus on Manufacturing Technologies, Additive Manufacturing, Advanced Materials and Material characterization, as well as Computational Analysis. The hub boasts an extensive range of infrastructure and equipment, from manufacturing systems, 3D-scanning, 3D-printing to mechanical testing equipment.
