The DAFNE Department of the University of Tuscia (Italy) is specialized in agricultural and forest sciences, with a focus on plant physiology, sustainable crop systems, and Mediterranean agroecosystems. The DAFNE Department is actively involved in national and international research projects, including PRIMA programmes. Within this context, our research group focuses on plant nutrient interactions, stress physiology, and genotype screening under challenging environmental conditions, contributing to the development of more resilient and sustainable agricultural systems.

I am a researcher in Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Tuscia (Italy), with expertise in plant nutrient interactions and abiotic stress physiology, particularly focusing on the role of sulfur (S) in stress tolerance and nutrient dynamics, including S–Fe interactions. Our group has strong experience in crop physiology, nutrient management, and the screening of plant genotypes under challenging environmental conditions, with specific work on drought tolerance in durum wheat. We have recently completed a PRIMA project on wheat screening under drought stress and are currently involved in another PRIMA project funded in 2025. Building on this experience, we aim to prepare a proposal for the PRIMA 2026 call and seek collaboration to establish a multidisciplinary consortium. We offer expertise in plant nutrient interactions, stress physiology, and genotype screening under limiting conditions, together with proven experience in PRIMA project implementation and management.
