INIAV is the national research centre of the Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture. We have several centres dedicated to Animal, Plant, Food and Forestry Research. We have a variety of fully equiped state of the art laboratories couvering the entire food chain, some of them of international reference. We are a dedicated team of 150+ researchers and 300+ lab technitians. We have 1000+ ha of land half of it irrigated, dedicated to animal production, crop production, horticulture, fruticulture, viticulture, etc. We have also a dedicated team in our project administration office and we are very expperienced in project administration.
