Congratulations to the Chair Prof. Angelo Riccaboni who inspiringly commented: “I’m honoured of the support that EuroMediterranean governments have given to the renewal of my mandate. I confirm my commitment to PRIMA and, in line with what has been achieved so far, I will engage myself with even greater determination in aligning PRIMA to Agenda 2030, the post Covid scenario, the new EU Horizon Europe Programme and the ‘Farm to Fork strategy’, with the aim of giving a small contribution to address the challenges that the Mediterranean region and our societies are facing”.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
The PRIMA programme is an Art.185 initiative supported and funded under Horizon 2020, the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
