Looking to join a consortium in the field of farming system Topic 1.2.1-2023 (IA)

Our public institut developed extensive research activities including various research areas: Production systems, Agroecology, Biofertilizer technology , plant protection, , socio-economic research and others for a variety of high value crops in Morocco. We established collaboration with various stakeholders such as producers, farmer organizations, national agricultural research organizations, universities and international research and development centers.

We would like to participate in proposals as partners, in activities related to Topic 1.2.1-2023 (IA) Actions to restore and return degraded lands in the Mediterranean region into productive agroecosystems. We have a multidisciplinary team (Soil microbiome, Agricultural valorization of agricultural and agro-industrial waste, and Agroecological practice, Socio-economic aspect). Our key expertise can accommodate the following:
- Adoption of Agroecological practice and production and application of Biofertilizers (Biochar, compost, Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, Mulch) as innovative solutions to restore soil health on degraded lands (soil salinity, drought problem, heavy metal pollution and others),
- Establishment of the innovation platform in order to constantly evaluate and adopt innovative solution jointly with stakeholders and assure the transfer of knowledge and technological innovations across national and international scales.
