Looking for consortium on Novel antimicrobial food packagingn and coating materials

Our research group is focused on antibacterial coatings and new materials active against different kinds of microorgansims, intended for packaging and medical items.

Our Department is searching opportunity to join a consortium interested in preparing application/s to the on-going call. We are ready to work within a consortium that is a link between research and industry and that addresses the inter-dependencies between the Antimicrobial coatings, Food Packaging and Ecosystem sectors. We are also interested in solutions to scale up existing local knowledge and to deal with risks that may threaten the food supply chain by development of new antimicrobial coatings, on which we have 10 years experience, many papers and awards for our innovationa. The collaboration proposal is expected to be pivotal to a successful transition to a green economy and sustainable development that will promote circularity in resource management. Our organization is ready to help in preparation of the project proposal, implementation of the work packages, project administration and management, optimization and mathematical modeling of processes, development of new materials and processes, dissemination of the results in papers and on conferences, as well as the organization of the project events (conference, workshops, dissemination in media and others).
