Looking for a consortium for implementing nature based solutions to deal with microplastic reduction.

The University of Girona is located at the North-East of Spain. It has a long experience on dealing with international projects on circular economy, specially on developing nature based solutions for water treatment, The Department of Physics has a long experience on developing nature based systems for circular nutrient management by recovering and recycling nutrients from wastewater for both environmental and irrigation purposes. It is also interested in upgrading wastewater treatment plants to better trap micro-pollutants and micro-plastics based on nature based solutions.

Looking for a consortium on upgrading wastewater treatment plants to efficiently trap micro-plastics and disinfect, and improve conditions for increasing water quality for reuse purposes.
