Pistachio Research Institute is a public institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye. Our institute carries out studies on important fruit species (Pistachio, almond, vineyard, olive) in the region with expert researchers on plant breeding, cultivation techniques, plant health, plant nutrition, irrigation and food technologies. Our institute also has gene banks with a large collection of pistachios and vineyards. Our facilities also include plant protection, soil-plant analysis, food and biotechnology laboratories. The research studies are conducted by 23 researchers with master's and doctorate degrees and specialized in different fields.
