AIJU is the European Technological Institute specialising in toys and children’s products. Our mission is to be your innovation partner, bringing value to your company by assisting throughout all the processes involved in creating new products based on consumer insights and bringing them to the market. We collaborate with you to differentiate your products in each market segment according to a global position that responds to real trends. AIJU proposes solutions to companies’ challenges related to circular & sustainable materials, plastic transformation processes, additive manufacturing, safety, regulatory standards, digital & immersive technologies and knowledge of children and families as consumers.

Our objective is to perform societal analysis of biobased circular solutions and products to reach more responsible and informed choices in consumption for citizens and industrial partners.
We can perform international surveys (6 international countries and at 150 interviews/country) according to ISO rules (ISO 9186-1-2014, ISO9186-2-2008 and ISO 9186-3-2014).
Expertise in creating new labelling for products. Expertise in creating Graphics Symbols for the European Union (Design and Validation (in accordance with ISO rules) of graphical symbols conveying certain safety warning messages to be used for child-care articles, 2015, ISBN 978-92-9200-686-0) and CHILDTIZEN project (2021-2022).
Expertise in European projects for the development on consumer analysis or industrial analysis of technologies. All this activity has been part of different projects:
- FUNTOMP (new Mediterranean food products and consumer habbits). PRIMA MED project 2020 project, section 1.
- DELICIOUS (new consumer habbits, trends and e-games for eductaion). PRIMA MED 2021 project, section 1.
- New trend and habbits project. PRIMA MED 2022 project. Section 2 (under signature)
- GenB project (Horizon Europe) related to bioeconomy, biobased products and societal analysis, among other projects. -
