The Environmental Engineering Laboratory (EEL) team is working on nature-based solutions for water and wastewater treatment. Our current work include wastewater treatment, irrigation drainage water and stormwater by autochthonous microalgae species, and constructed wetlands in lab and pilot scale systems. Furthermore, we are working on the valorization of the produced biomass.
