Science-Technology Park of Almería, PITA is a SME that aims to study, promote and develop in an agile and practical way models, values, ideas and innovative initiatives that face current and future social challenges and innovations that result in development economic and human of the society. It also aims to create, attract and develop business projects for new or existing companies, according to the models and guidelines of the Commission of the European Community for European Research and Innovation centers.
Its corporate purpose includes:
"Carry out R + D + i activities, as well as generate scientific or technological knowledge, facilitate its application and transfer, and contribute to scientific education, dissemination and dissemination, being a catalyst for innovation and technological development, favoring the exchange of knowledge and technology transfer between companies, technological agents and universities, and promoting the creation and growth of innovative companies ”.
PITA has an experience of more than 7 years in participation in entrepreneurship, science dissemination, and innovation projects.
Regarding its informative capacity, PITA has extensive experience in outreach activities, conferences, workshops, networking, webinars and conferences.
Since 2014, more than 600 activities have been generated with a reach of 30,000 people. Actions with various themes such as internationalization, technology transfer, cooperation, science dissemination.
