DESCRIPTION OF COLLABORATION:
We are looking for a partnership working into small scale farming systems, promotion of the mediterranean diet or figthing against climate change specially in topics related with water scarcity or water quality improvement. We are expert in governance, field test for new technologies, bussiness plans and communication and dissemination, in fact our project LowCarbon Feed has been selected for be awarded by the LIfe programme in the climate category.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
LA UNIO is a Spanish Farmer Association with 6.000 members. We have a lot of experience in international projects as Life programme, H2020 and Interreg. Also we maintaing international relationships with several research institutions from the south share of the Mediterranean. Our main mission is looking for new ways to obtain more incomes for farmers specially valorizating agricultural and livestock waste and figthing against climate change. We produce by ourselves organic products and by this way we have a a very deep knowledge of the real conditions of the market . We can assure a very high and intense dissemination of results and its transfer.
