The Soil Science and Environment Group is the unit of training and research, residing at the Chouaib Doukkali University and reattached to the Geosciences and environmental technics laboratory. It is active through its research activities in the field of soil quality, land use and Environmental Monitoring. DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
The Chouaib Doukkali University (CDU) in El Jadida, Morocco. It is a public institution of higher education and scientific research. At present, the Chouaib Doukkali there are 3 faculties and 3 high schools, 18300 students (2018/2019). Training is provided for bachelor degree and master degree.
In terms of research. University has established two centers for doctoral studies, with 25 laboratories involving 82 research teams. Researches activities grow from a reflection that takes into account the economic and social needs and regional specificities. UCD implements its policy research, in consultation with the scientific community at the University and in harmony with the socio-economic potential. With more than 8,000 students, the Faculty of Sciences - http://www.fsj.ac.ma - is the largest and most dynamic component of the university.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
