KSU is looking partners in Europe and South Mediterranean region for a proposal aiming at sustainable waste management model, able to cope with low quality soils (acidic and arid soils) and provide the efficient use of inactive resources, and management of liquid phase of wastes during biogas production. The project will create a model applicable to other countries those which seek an economical solution for acidic and arid soils. Our project consists of 3 main workpackages:.
1-Waste supply (inactive resources and biogas liquid waste) and characterization
2-Lab-scale studies to optimize organic fertilizer production
3-Implementation of produced organic fertilizer in three different country
Our partner will be responsible for the last work package in which our request is to test the fertilizers produced during the project by applying them in any agricultural product they want. Besides, having experience in circular economy will enrich the project.

The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
