DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
Our institution was established by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock with the object of carrying out agricultural researches, improvement, training and dissemination activities and also find solution for farmers and producers.
We have been carrying out essential researches in cereals, edible grain legumes, fiber crops, oil crops, conservative soil cultivation, genetic resources, medicinal and aromatic plants, fodder crops, pasture improvement and management, solar energy, vegetable and fruit growing, viticulture, agronomy and animal husbandry. Oil, wheat, cotton, lentil, pepper and chickpea varieties improved by our institution and served to farmers and producers. Southeast Anatolia Region is close to the Iraq, Iran, Syria and the Middle East Countries, for this reason, results of our researches have been sharing by mentioned countries. One EU project has been carrying out by our team and we are in touch and carrying huge projects with international institutions such as CIMMTY and ICARDA nowadays.
We have huge knowledge and experiences on water management, zero and conservative tillage, solar energy in agriculture, animal husbandry, field (cereals, oil and legumes etc.) and garden crops, viticulture, and breeding subjects as well.
Finally, we would like to be partner by the way of mutual collaboration and exchange (know-how) information and experiences by prepare and submit an international project together. We will enjoy for working with you in the near future.
GAP Agricultural Research Institute (GAPTAEM) located in Southeastern Anatolia Region (GAP) in TURKEY. We are ready in the stage of collaborating project AS A PARTNER within the scope of PRIMA, etc. We would like to work with you for projects supported by European union or other outsourced, and also in the others mutual collaboration (know-how).
