Establishment of an on-farm agricultural wastewater treatment (via constructed wetlands) to reuse treated wastewater resources aiming towards self-sufficiency at the farm level. Our research will focus at evaluating alternative solutions to treat agricultural wastewater that can potentially be economically feasible for small-scale farm holders.
This research will evaluate the use of constructed wetland with a land-based pre-treatment as a means of treating agricultural wastewater. It will examine the performance of a constructed wetland and pre-treatment systems.
