The municipality of Atri is an autonomous local authority, which represents its own community, takes care of its interests and promotes its development. The town of Atri is located in the Abruzzo region, in the province of Teramo, at an altitude of mt. 442 s.l.m. , the territory of the municipality has an area of 92.29 square Kilometers. The resident population in the municipality of Atri counts 10.635 inhabitants: of which 1297 in the age group 18- 30 years.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
