We wish to collaborate with other research institutes, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations in the field of food safety, environmental pollutants bio-monitoring as well as toxicokinetic and toxicodynamic characterization of toxic entities and their metabolites. Our laboratory has extensive experience in analytical, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics and risk assessment. Our main analytes of interest include pesticides, heavy metals, persistent organic pollutants, alkaloids, drugs and veterinary products as well as plasticizes.

The Agricultural Research Organization, Volcani Center is actively conducts research in the fields of Plant Sciences, Animal Sciences, Plant Protection, Soil, Water and Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Postharvest and Food Sciences. It serves as the research arm of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the State of Israel and provides research opportunities for local and international scientists at graduate and post-graduate levels.
