We would like to join a project aimed at improving water quality and/or to recovery and reuse of wastewater. We can offer expertise on socioeconomic aspect, changing behavior and attitude toward the ways of the use and reuse of water.
Many modern technologies seek to provide water with adequate quantity and quality. However, various efforts may fail because of excessive water consumption, as lack of awareness among individuals will abort various strategies.
Therefore, we seek to provide a mechanism to influence the attitudes of individuals for the rational exploitation of water, where the binding communication can be used as one of the modern techniques to rationalize water consumption in different regions, whether by individuals, farmers and even industrialists.
The socio-economic side has a hand by hand with the technical aspect of the use and handling of water resources.
Through our contribution we seek to apply the binding communication techniques to rationalize water consumption in the Mediterranean countries, because binding communication works to change the individual’s behaviors by influencing theirs attitudes.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
We are in faculty of economics and management at Setif 1 University.
We are able to develop new techniques of communication aiming to persuasion and change individuals, farmers and industrialists behavior toward water.
We worked before as experts for the evaluation of Algerian water strategy in PRFU research project.
We would like to join a project aimed at improving water quality and/or to recovery and reuse of wastewater. We can offer our expertise on socioeconomic aspect, changing behavior and attitude toward the ways of the use and reuse of water.
We have previous experience as experts for the evaluation of Algerian water strategy in PRFU research project.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
