We are seeking to join a consortium and submit a proposal under the topic of agricultural resources management with an emphasis on the use of treated wastewater in irrigation processes. This includes the management of water resources and other agricultural resources in order to maintain the production efficiency level and the future availableness of the resources. It also includes the respect of the environmental sustainability constraint, and the economic stability of the producers. Our work plan concerns the design, development, and synthesis of control and estimation architectures for the management of the production systems constrained by a common environment in which the economic individual goals conflict with the global goal of environmental sustainability.

The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
