The fast growing applications of the nanomaterials especially agro-food and other biological applications, has generated increased and fast growing concerns about the interaction of the nanomaterials with environment and biological systems (termed as bio-nano interaction) like biological media, biological fluids and agro-food matrices. The bio-nano interaction is of great imporatnce in investigation of the potential ecological, toxicological and health impact as well as tailoring or engeneering the physicochemical and biological properties of the nanomaterials especially for the biological applications.

My institution, agricultural research center is huge public research institution with 16 Institutes and13 Central Labs (and more than 11,000 research staff, the second largest research institution in Egypt.
