Energylab may provide and develop the following idea in the field of farming for a wider PRIMA proposal:
“Develop and experimentally validate an integral treatment system for cattle slurry applied in the dairy industry that allows both, its valorization and reduction of the environmental impact.
The slurry treatment system will be based on the use of different biological processes, such as anaerobic digestion, lagooning systems, artificial wetlands and composting for the treatment of cattle slurry without involving a high investment or operating cost for the farmer.”
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
EnergyLab is a private technology centre specialised in energy efficiency and sustainability. It is a non-profit private entity set up on 2008 as an initiative of the industry and the Regional Government. EnergyLab identifies, develops and promotes technologies, processes, products and consumption behaviours able to contribute to the improvement of the energy efficiency and sustainability through its applications in industry, domestic products, mobility and buildings.
To cover all expected impacts of the PRIMA calls we need to complete this idea with more contributions from other partners.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
