Main target: We offer a partnership for the researchers who need collaboration for "Biochemical Analyses of Fish Meat via High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)". We carry out amino acid analyses on a regular basis, especially on fish species obtained from aquaculture.
Besides, we are planning to execute some analyses such as determinations of flavonoids, fat soluble vitamins and fenolic compounds from macroalgae in the future within the scope of projects that carrry on. Also, we used optimization methods just as response surface methodology for the pre-treatment analysis. Therefore we looking for partnership about mentioned analyses, additionally.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
The aim of Central Fisheries Research Institute (CFRI) is to investigate aquaculture and seafood in seas especially in Black sea and inland waters in Turkey and to ensure the adoption of research results. Task area of the institute is Black sea, inlandwaters in Marmara and North East Anatolia.Unique studies are being put forth in scientific area by the investigations of the institute as well as practical, feasible information owning economic aspects which contributes to development of the country and the region is presented to those who work in fishing and the cultivation of aquatic products. Also, the institute assists government in incentives for fishing and aquaculture and bans on fishing by the results of investigations. Our Mission; to direct fisheries sector by conducting projects about studying topics, holding national and international meetings and innovative implementations with qualified personnel, laboratory infrastructure at international level, fully-equipped scientific research vessel and production systems.
Technical Infrastructure: Agilent 1260 Infinity II HPLC system with DAD detector. We use amino acid analysis method of Agilent with Zorbax amino acid colon and Agilent standards.
The researcher team includes Ekrem Cem Çankırılıgil (Fisheries engineer - MSc, Phd candidate).
