I am looking for a research collaboration on evaluation of the current situation including digital or non-digital tools that Agri-Food industry is using in the region. The research coloration should include appreciation of value smallholder farmers who must be integrated within the system of ICT in agriculture, being reasonable and affordable for all, since big-scale farms can already afford the cost of the system requirements. The research coloration should also seek climate change, alternative animal feeds, agro food supply chain system, optimal economic development with high level of environmental protection and fair access to natural resources to all stakeholders of the sectors, particularly farmers. Information and communication technology in agriculture (ICT in agriculture) is also a big issue to work on.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
The Erciyes University, founded in 1978, is a state university with more than 52000 students including 2300 graduate students, 50000 academic staffs, 19 faculties including medical, law, dentistry, pharmacy and veterinary schools, 7 graduate schools, 5 libraries, and 39 research centers as well as a research hospital with 1350 beds. ERU enables an integration in its vicinity by offering educational, research and health services. The construction of a considerable part of infrastructure and service buildings was ensured by the benefactors in the city, and after all furnishings and installations were completed, these buildings were donated to our university. Such an application has constituted a brand-new model for our country. The university has made progress in the direction of a center of excellence as a result of the developments in recent years. ERU, by reassuring and encouraging hope, has caused an image called “Our University” to appear in the society.
Looking forward to collaborate a research together.
