We seek to participate in a project developing innovative and sustainable crop and food products for the Mediterranean area. In particular we wish to evaluate exploitation of the novel cereal Tritordeum as an alternative crop adapted to the mediterranean area which offers agronomic and nutritional advantages and the opportunity to add value to regional crop / food value chains.
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ORGANISATION:
Technology-based SME (www. agrasys.es) focussed on the development of new value-added crops which can offer expertise in the areas of breeding / crop development, analysis, field trials / agronomy, food product development, etc.
In addition to basic and applied scientific R&D capabilities, we have capabilities and expertise in the areas of marketing and communication (particularly digital marketing) and dissemination.
The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area will devise new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth
The PRIMA programme is an Art.185 initiative supported and funded under Horizon 2020, the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
